A Fajita Scramble and a Fairy Tale
62Do As I Say!
Good morning beloved breakfastpoppers. Today is Friday, January 6 in the year of our kingdom 2012. It's time for a fairy tale and I am sorry to say it is a rather grim one. King Teleprompter has gone rogue and is now governing on his own. He has swept Congress into the moat along with our Constitution. We need to get up to speed on this development so let's prepare our morning meal and meet by the River of Tears that runs through the Forest of Broken Promises.
This morn we will be preparing Fajita Scrambles. You will need 1/4 cup chopped green pepper, 1/4 cup chopped red pepper, 1/4 cup onion, 8 eggs, 1/2 teaspoon fajita seasoning, 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce, 1/4 cup milk, 3/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese, 4 tortillas, fresh chopped cilantro (don't put any on mine) and salsa.
Saute the vegetables in one teaspoon butter until soft.
Beat eggs, seasonings, hot sauce and milk and whisk until blended. Scramble eggs with vegetebles. Add 1/2 cup of the cheese and cook until melted.
Warm the tortillas in your hearth and place 1/4 of the scrambled mixture in each tortilla and roll up. Top with cheese and heat your fajitas in your hearth or your not yet invented microwave until the cheese melts. Sprinkle cilantro (none for me) and serve with salsa.
Wrap up your breakfast and head for the river. I will have plenty of Bloody Marys to go around and some indigestion potion too, if needed.
Thank you all for coming. I will not take up too much of your time. I fear that the King may discover our meeting place and throw us in the dungeon so I'll get right down to business. King Teleprompter has decided that he is going to go it alone. He no longer needs our elected representatives in order to govern. He no longer needs to discuss his sweeping legislation with anyone. He is King and the King needs no one. He has banished Congress to our kingdom's version of Siberia and in doing so he has banished us as well.
Under cover of darkness, King Teleprompter anointed Sir Richard Cordray to head the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau without the Senate's approval. Technically the Senate remained in pro forma session, so this move was even more "in your face" defiant. Sir Richard will wield an enormous amount of power with a very sharp sword. He will be accountable to no one. We, the taxpayers, will never know how much money the CFPB is spending because the Ill conceived and unread Dodd-Frank debacle allows the agency to draw its funds from the Federal Reserve's budget. What happens in the Federal Reserve stays in the Federal Reserve so Sir Richard will be operating without restraint or oversight.
This my friends is very, very bad news for our kingdom and for us. Our beloved democracy is teetering under the strong armed tactics of the King. When he announced that he was going to "go it alone" he meant it and there is more to come. Let's disband now, lest the kingdom police discover us and charge us with unlawful gathering and too free speech. We must work together to unseat the King come election day. Be strong, be safe, and be alert. Our kingdom is now a very dangerous place...POP...

Great hub! I am afraid we may be doomed after all. Kind of hard to fight the *king* isn't it?
I heard Rush L. yesterday saying (and I don't know where he gets his info but this is interesting)...that supposedly this appointment of the newest czar is just another step toward HARP 2.0, which, according to Rush, would have almost NO requirements and would force everyone's mortgage to be *refigured*.
He was saying that it would amount to around somewhere like $350 a month in lower mortgage payments. Supposedly the ONE requirement is to be 3 months current on payments.
Can you just imagine if this happens??????
Who in their right mind *wouldn't* like their mortgage lowered?
What will be the consequences of all this if it happens?
Suddenly the *collateral* that the banks hold is worth less?
All the current underwater houses are now floaters?
Think about it!

Well, I for one, am really sick to my stomach over all this!

Send the king to the gallows! And send his big-butted wife with him! Why isn't any member of congress speaking out on this appointment or trying to bring impeachment procedings. I have been hearing rumblings about this throughout the kingdom. One way or another the King will buy this election and install himself in the castle for another 4 years. He is also going to give poor kids jobs this summer, another "feel good" moment for his base at taxpayer's expense. See you at the Inn. We may have an out here. Sir Richard Cordray is attempting to go after the non-banks (Student loan companies and mortgage companies) and audit them the same as banks. Our non-banks are at the ready, because if he does, they will puck back, stating that his appointment is invalid and he has no authority over them.
This will certainly be interesting.
In the meantime, while our Senate is tanning themselves somewhere, Obama will be making three more appointments - to the National Labor Relations Board - of course, three appointments that he could not get through the Senate. Even if I was a Democrat Senator, I would not stand for this! The King is certainly out of control!

His audacity really knows no bounds. And really all he has to do is say he's gonna lower mortgages to get elected, its not like he has to actually make it happen. He's put other "scams" into place that tie people up for months if not years jumping through hoops trying to get relief from circumstances he and his partners in crime have caused.

It's all smoke and mirrors to insure that he stays in the castle for 4 more years. Forget about truth, integrity, the Constitution and the people. This is all about him and his power trip. He ought to be impeached! He does all this and cuts deeply into our military where some cuts might be advisable but he isn't willing to cut any entitlement programs and as this article states he's creating new ones! Breakfast was excellent by the way! I'm going to keep it short too. I got a plan for bouncing his arrogant ass out. It goes like this; Quit worrying about who wins the nomination. Between now and November find two people who NEVER vote, and take em to the voting booth with you to vote against Obama. I don't care who wins the nomination as long as Obama gets fired. If everyone who feels strongly against another four years with this creep does this, we'll go way past the 65 million it could take to win.

BPOP - Wiser words haven't been written lately. Obama is now totally out of control with his arrogance in full display. The last week has brought just how dangerous this person is capable of being fore square into my mind.
Looking back at history and the rise of more than one despot and dictator needs close examination. My question, at this point in time, is just how much this ideologue who has no respect for the US Constitution is going to be allowed to run a muck in order to ram his ideology down the throat of a nation who doesn't want much to do with the way that idiot sees. it. It is now apparent to me that Obama really does not like the United States of America and our way of life.
After all, he was the one in the beginning who stated that he was going to "fundamentally transform" our nation without ever being clear as to "what." There is now a lot of clarity and transparency regarding what he means. An all powerful federal circus isn't what I want in my life, now or in the future.

This latest move isn't Constitutional. Congress was not in recess when he made these appointments, therefore they should be null and void. This latest outrage can be challenged and should be, but most feel it is a done deal. Congress has allowed Obama to marginalize them.
This is just one more example of why I hope to hell that America is waking up. I think they are, but the question will be, are ENOUGH of them waking up? If not, then I honestly don't know where we go from here.
