A Sausage Puff and a Fairy Tale

Good morning beloved breakfastpoppers. Today is Fairy Tale Friday, September 23, in the year of our kingdom 2011. King Teleprompter and his pals are running amok and I think it's time we talk about all the scandals that are afoot because clearly the mainstream media in our kingdom don't care to.
Let's prepare some Sausage Puffs this morning and meet right in front of the castle in plain view of the King and and all those that dwell within. I think it important that we remind the King that there are people who are deeply concerned about all his transgressions.
Please go to your larder and gather together 1 pound ground sausage, 1 and 1/2 cups milk, 6 lightly beaten eggs, 2 cups shredded cheese, 1 tablespoon dry mustard and 1 and 1/2 cups bisquick. Cook the sausage in a frying pan. Grease a casserole dish and pour sausage on bottom of pan. Now add the rest of the ingredients. Mix well and bake in your hearth that has been heated to 375 degrees. Bake for about 1 hour or more if necessary. Test for doneness by inserting your trusted toothpick into the center. If it comes out clean, it's ready. This recipe serves 8 hungry people so bring along a crowd and a bull horn.
Hello friends and neighbors. We are here to tell the King that we the people know about all the hanky panky going on in the kingdom and that we are not amused. The town crier and the newspapers may be silent on the subject but we don't intend to be.
King Teleprompter, I know you can hear me. This bullhorn is quite effective, something you can't claim to be. While you are racing around the kingdom blaming republicans for being intractable and rich people for not paying their fair share there have been quite a few disastrous scandals going on that you never talk about.
Well sir, let us refresh your memory. This is the unbiased version of the news of the kingdom. First article of the day concerns Operation Fast and Furious, a botched attempt to sell weapons to gun buyers in order to track them to major weapons traffickers along the southwestern border and into Mexico. What a miserable failure that plan was. You couldn't find so many of the guns, a lot of the weapons ended up in Mexico, a border patrol agent died with weapons that were part of this miserable scheme, violent crimes were committed in our kingdom and in Mexico and so far at least 200 people have been murdered in Mexico. Well. King Teleprompter what do you have to say about this mess? We can't hear you sir. The press corps doesn't seem terribly interested in the story either, but let me assure you that the people of this kingdom are interested and we are waiting for an explanation. We are waiting for some straight talk about a horrible idea. How long are we going to have to wait, sir?
Let's move along to the botched affair at Solyandra, that company that received $535 million dollars from the Energy Department. You must remember this company, King Teleprompter, although you never talk about it anymore. You praised this company and then after receiving money that was fast tracked to their doorstep they filed for bankruptcy. You were hoping that Solyndra would make you look like a hero by being successful. Had you not interfered and insisted this money be raced to them perhaps someone might have discovered how badly they were doing. All the employees were aware of their financial state but neither you or your friends in high places knew a thing. Perhaps you should address this issue while you are out and about making speeches.
Now, King Teleprompter, there is just one more thing we want to tell you before we depart. We, the people, are interested to learn more about this company called LightSquared, a wireless company backed by billionaire Democratic donor Philip Falcone. We found out that military officials were gravely concerned about this company's technology because it was possible that signals coming from their technology could interfere with GPS signals, which is no small thing. Once again there are allegations that your crew in the castle tried to interfere with and influence Congressional testimony to rush the approval process along.
Something untoward is going on in our little kingdom. You can run around the countryside pretending you have all the answers to our problems, but it is very clear you are the problem and you have no intention of ever answering our questions. Well, sir, we will not be deterred. If we have to we will appear in the castle courtyard every week to ask you to come clean. You can run but you can't hide...POP...

Solyandra went belly up because the empty suit in the white house never ran a business and hardly any of his advisors businesses. So, without any experience how could they know the company was a disaster? He runs around the world pretending he knows everything and he knows nothing.

POP: The WH was advised that Solyandra was not a stable company for the investment. The Budget Office even predicted that if given the money, they would run out in September of 2011! And, true to form, they did. Now we ask why? One reason is that Americans are not yet ready to go entirely solar. If you make a product that no one wants, you don't sell it. The WH was determined to push green energy on us. We are just not ready.

I am tired of all of this. there is NO ONE, no one out there who gives a shit about any of us.... These people sit in office making closed door deals for their own self gain while the rest of us stock up on cat food. Though I heard dog food goes down a bit easier. I want to throw all these losers out on their arses and give Washington a long overdue enema. I want a straight shooter, someone who actually likes this country, values the tenets the country was built upon, respects its citizens enough to protect us.... we should all be very fearful of the current environment.... so ripe for so many bad things to happen.... I am tired of all these people leading us, who are so removed from what it is like to live day to day, sitting in their ivory towers playing us like fools.... we fools need to rise up and revolt... but we need respectable intelligent leaders... Pop, sad days we've endured and I think that they are destined to fall into worse days. I see no action from any of the houses, all three riding for free with no worries, thinking they are unsinkable. All I can say is they'll be going down with the ship unless their wealth is off shore and a Lear jet or better waiting for them to flea to places that won't extradite them back for trial. I have to share with you, bp, a funny commercial I saw on TV last night. It advertised Cascade, a dishwashing detergent. The scene proclaiming how wonderfully effective it is takes place inside a dishwasher with actors acting as if they were in a space ship and the Leader - get this - is a ringer for Obama.
Maybe that is him practicing for his next career -detergent spokesman. He would be a natural with his teleprompter experience.
You hit so topics that have really annoyed me, particularly that the media has barely scratched the surface on this fast and furious. Eric Holder had to approve it but of course has lied. They is information that 3 of King Teleprompter's advisers were aware of this utterly stupid plan.
As for Solyandra, I understand they're all going to plead the 5th today as no one want to tell where the money is or any other details.
I think I choose to believe the General rather than the denials of the While House on the LightSquared deal also. Seems to be the top dogs should be spending a bit of time in jail! Great hub.

Interesting, Interesting! I have had my head buried in the sand lately with starting our own business, but was glued to the news this morning when my hubby turned it on. What really happened to the 500 million dollars that is missing? Is it really 500 million dollars, or could it be more? What is the deal with Pakistan? Or the changes Obama has made with the No Child Left Behind bill? My mind was racing today with many wonders of what is really going on behind the closed doors.

I noticed combined Court jester and Atty. general Holder is again talking about closing Gitmo. Start another outrage to take light and heat from those already ongoing. LightSquared supposedly has Soros as an investor also.
