A Stir-Fry and Voter Fraud

Stop The Madness!

Good morning breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, July 25, 2011. The 2012 elections will be here before we know it. I think it's time we cleaned up our act and stopped dead people and non-citizens from going to the polls and screwing up the results. We talk about the problem but we never walk the walk.

Let's prepare breakfast and see what's going on. This morning we will be creating a Breakfast Stir-Fry. You will need 2 teaspoons canola oil, 4 eggs, 1 tablespoon slivered ginger, 1 sliced green onion, 1 cup soba noodles, cooked and drained, 1/2 cup snow peas, 1/4 cup baby corn, 1/4 cup sliced green pepper, 1 sliced tomato, and 1 tablespoon soy sauce.

Add 1 teaspoon oil to saute pan over medium heat. Add eggs, that you have beaten silly and cook like you were making an omelette. Remove the egg and slice into strips. Add the rest of the oil to the pan and add ginger, green onion, baby corn, green peppers and snow peas. Cook until snow peas are bright green. This should take about 1 minute. Now add your cooked noodles. Saute stirring constantly until warm. Throw in your egg strips, tomatoes and soy sauce and stir until hot. That's it. Remove from pan and enjoy. A nice Bloody Mary would make a delicious add-on to the meal. A photo I.D. would make a nice addition to the voting process.

We have a problem in this country. It is easy to vote, so easy that even people who are not eligible to vote enjoy the privilege. The Colorado Secretary of State reported that 5,000 non-citizens voted in their Senate race, which was decided by a very close margin. The same thing occurred in 2008 in Minnesota. It is simply a matter of common sense that voters should have to present a photo I.D. at the polls in order to cast their ballots. A simple thing like a photo would discourage thousands of dead people from showing up at the polls. Who could possibly object to such a simple solution to a such a serious problem? Stumped? Well Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Scultz objects. She believes that requiring voter I.D. photos would discourage the poor and minorities from voting. Do the poor not drive? Are the poor and minorities never required to show proof of who they are? What does being a minority or being poor have to do with voting. Prove you are who you say you are and by all means step right up and vote. Refuse to give proof, then turn around and forfeit your vote. Democrats argue that such a requirement would discourage not only the poor and minorities from voting but also the elderly. They also believe that requiring a photo I.D. would discourage students from exercising their right to vote. I doubt there is a campus in this nation that doesn't require a photo I.D. so I can't imagine what the Democrats are talking about.

Perhaps, and I am just throwing this out for discussion, perhaps they want people who actually don't have the right to vote to support their candidates. Perhaps, all those dead people voting, are all Democrats. I think it's time to stop all the insane rhetoric about this issue. It shouldn't even be an issue. All Americans, regardless of party affiliation should want our elections to be fraud free and fair. Voting is a very serious matter and it should be treated that way. If you want to cast your vote, produce a photo I.D. It's not that complicated...POP...

Pop,

The ineligible voter is a HUGE constituency of the Democrat party. Ever since Loretta Snachez won her California House of Representives race with the voting illegal aliens the potential of this group has been nurtured!!!!!!

POP: I live in Florida and whenever I go to vote, I must show my photo ID. I was in line to vote in the last election and the person in front of my didn't bring her photo ID and kept trying to vote anyway. Finally, she left to go back home to get her ID. Is this just something that happens in my County?

On a related note, the Dream Act is not actually law, but Obama signed an Executive Order in June to be certain the hispanics are not deported. He has pissed off a lot of people who voted for him, so he really needs the hispanic vote - registered or not. Wait until 2012 - I bet there will be many more hispanic voters than all voters registered in the US.

OK, now I'm giving myself a headache. I need to get to the bar - someone, please save me a seat...

Morning POP...Josef Stalin has said " Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything."...With computerized vote counting this statement becomes reality...

The buying of votes by outfits like Acorn, the union-organized block voting, ballot-stuffing, and the verified voter fraud of dead people and non-citizens, is turning our election system into a third-world embarrassment...In fact, we now have foreign monitors during our national elections from Britain, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Russia, and Spain to insure we have honest elections...Unbelievable...

What's the answer..? The answer is we verify each voter by photo ID and we hand-count each and every vote under scrutny of local citizen volunteers...We abolish e-voting, and we assure our Arned Forces are given the vote in a timely and secure manner...

See you at the tavern, Pop...I'm voting for 50 as the kegmaster...Put a gallon in me Allen...Larry

Pop, there are a lot of homeless veterans, no ID, but I doubt they would vote sans "what's in it for me" and a pay off to get on the bus, but not being certain of that I'd hate to see them disenfranchised but non-English speakers, no ID is a no brainier, don't let them vote, kegger time? 50

Poppy, the democrats are just following the leadership style of their dear president...he refuses to reveal anything about himself and managed to get elected to the highest office in the land. Why should anyone have to identify themselves to vote? Duh? I am starting to get the picture here...it's okay to grope granny at the airport because a photo id which would certify her status is too much trouble...so we do rectal exams and naked x-rays to compensate but when it comes to voter fraud...well, that would just be silly to think that we should actually demand proof that someone is who they say they are. I never realized that the poor, elderly, and the young were so afraid of the identification process. Could this be just another pile of smoke and mirrors to keep the status quo in place? After all, this is a right centered country and there is a middle ground which is "no party land". So, maybe the liberals have no other means to produce voters other than fraud. Can wwe deprive them of their last bastion of dignity by enforcing the laws intended to stop such shenanigans? I think so...it's past time. WB

Good one Pops!!..

to rent a video it requires ID's.....Poor or rich

Write a check requires an ID....Poor or rich

Check a book out of the Library requires an ID...Poor or rich

Buy some booze requires an ID...Poor or rich...

Why do liberals think it is okay for NO ID to vote?

Because they would lose votes for those who are NOT here legally....RIGHT?...Right!

I'm thirsty...see ya at the Inn.

Good morning Tom,

For a civilized country we have a very bad habit of imitating third world countries. Soon the word fraud will by interchangeable with Democrat. IIf we don't get a handle on this Obama may win because of all those phony votes. Hoe appalling. See you at the Inn.

Dear Pino,

I live in New Jersey and all you have to do is go up to the desk, say your name, show nothing, sign your name with perfect examples of the signature right in front of you and voila, you vote. As for the Dream Act, this president has been bypassing Congress and the American people constantly. There isn't enough outrage. I have a headache too. I'll see you at the In.

Good morning maven,

It's just common sense. I have to show my photo I.D to withdraw or deposit money n my own account. Debbie Wasserman- Schultz is so off the beaten track that she should be an embarrassment to those who elected her. I have to say the Dems, are really showing their true colors and it a is far from pretty. See you at the Inn. 50 brought me a keg of wine and I enjoyed it immensely. It took my mind off the fact that out economy is going off the cliff.

breakfastpop Hub Author 10 months ago

Dear 50,

I can't believe that the Dems think having to produce a photo I.D. is discriminatory. That is an embarrassing and transparent point of view. This isn't Bagdhad! Bring on the kegs!

breakfastpop profile image

breakfastpop Hub Author 10 months ago

Good morning Wayne,

Yes we can deprive the Dems of their phony voter pool and we better do it NOW! I can't believe that we are even talking about this in this country and in this day and age. I can't believe that there is anyone in Washington willing to admit that they don't want photo I.D.s. It's like admitting you are a crook! To the Inn. I am so disgusted I crave the company of people I respect.

Good morning CMerritt,

It is so outrageous that you almost have to believe it's just a bad dream. Photo I.D.s are the only way to stop the fraud and shame on anyone who is willing to say they support all the misconduct. There is no room for debate here. See you at the Inn.

Good Hub. And just to add anecdotal evidence. I am a Canadian citizen with an American Green Card, which means I have all the rights & privileges of an American citizen, except the vote. BUT, I have repeatedly been solicited to register to vote, and could have easily on each of those occasions, though I never have because it'd be fraudulent. You're right about it being far to easy. The system & process is corrupted.

I suppose if people are to poor to obtain a drivers license we should afford them the right to drive as well? A drivers license is a photo ID and what about ID's to cash checks? I don't think it's too much to ask people to always have ID on their person - and voting then is a non issue:) too bad it's not that easy huh?

Pamela99 profile image

Pamela99 Level 7 Commenter 10 months ago

POP, I think every state should have a law that requires a picture ID. If you don't drive you can still get a state ID for very little money. Many Democrates are against this law for obvious reasons. Voter fraud is a huge problem.

See you at the inn.

Dear Ken,

Thank you for your comments. It is unbelievable to me that the vote in this county is so compromised. You would think that all Americans would be invested in straightening this out. Apparently fair and fraudulent voting is a partisan issue. How sad is that?

breakfastpop Hub Author 10 months ago

Dear RealHousewife,

I t should be that easy. It should be but I think we have lost our minds in this country. There is no excuse, in my view, for objecting to photo IDs. See you at the INN.

Dear Pamela,

Can there be any excuse in the world for objecting to photo ID? Not in my view. See you at the Inn. Let's bring our photo IDs.

Hi Pop! This is a really thought-provoking hub. I guess I have a different take on this. At least one person commented that state government should mandate that all citizens have a photo ID. I disagree. Conservatives are supposed to be for less government interference in our personal lives, not more.

While I have no problem with a requirement to have a photo ID to vote, I don't want the government to mandate that I have to have one. Driving is a privilege, not a right. As such, if I don't need a drivers license or if I don't want to vote, I should not be mandated to have or show a state issued ID.

Freedom is about having choices. If a business requires that I have an ID to enter, that is a business policy - their choice. My choice is to shop at a business that does not have such a requirement - my choice. Not trying to be a stick in the mud, but just offering a different viewpoint.

Voted up, up and away!

Wasserman-Schultz is a political hack and a parrot for her Messiah Obama. You have to have a photo ID to enter any federal building now, She probably doesn't like that either. There are many instances where having a photo idea is required. Consider the source - Debbie The Dunce.

I apologize for my lateness but I'm working through a very serious issue that requires a lot of my attention.

Good morning Dexter,

We don't disagree at all. I say if you want to vote, produce a voter I.D. Don't want to produce the I.D. then don't vote. I feel the same way about flying. If I don't want to be radiated or groped, then I won't fly. See you at the Inn. No photo I.D. needed there.

Good Morning Frog Prince,

I just renewed my passport. A photo I.D. required. I can think of a million instances where I had to produce a photo I.D. including at the bank to deposit or withdraw money from my own account! Apparently Ms. Wasserman wants to garner as many illegal votes as she can for her party. Hope all is well, Frog.

I'm ashamed to admit, bp, that Debbie W-S represents my state. Musta been a glitch in the voting. In Florida, a photo ID has ben required for voting as long as I can remember - and that's a long, long time. Every state should do the same to stem voter fraud.

Loved your recipe: "beat the eggs silly!"

breakfastpop profile image

breakfastpop Hub Author 10 months ago

Dear drbj,

All I can say is Debbie must be so unhappy if Florida requires a photo I.D. She would be happier in New Jersey where you don't need to prove who you are to vote! Of course, we wouldn't welcome her. See you at the Inn. No photo I.D. required to enter the Inn.

You've whacked the nail on the head as usual, Pop. On the "close to home" front last November, both Whispering Harry Reid and--here in Tucson's Arizona CD7 district--Raul Grijalva should have been OUTA there.

Until the last moment, Election Day, when "suddenly" there was a significant swing in votes actually counted.

In both cases, Republicans made a little noise about investigating...which then died off with nothing much actually getting done.

Good morning Ghost,

That is a disgrace and it is not an isolated incident. Our voting system is compromised and our indifference is shocking.
