Acapulco Eggs and a Fairy Tale

So Close...

Good morning beloved breakfastpoppers. Today is Fairy Tale Friday, May 6 in the year of our kingdom 2011. We are living in very dangerous times. Radical Islamic terrorists are hard at work trying to destroy our kingdom and dominate the world. Moderate Muslims seem to be going along for the ride. It is up to us to remain vigilant in the face of this onslaught. With this in mind I think you all should be made aware of certain developments that are putting our kingdom in harm's way. Given the seriousness of the issue I suggest we meet deep in the forest in the Cave of Lost Chances. Let's prepare our morning meal and take it with us.

Today we will be preparing Acapulco Baked Eggs. The significance of this dish will be made clear in a little while. You will need to go to your pantry and gather 8 large eggs, 2 tablespoons butter, 6 tablespoons milk, 3/4 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 2/3 cup extra sharp shredded Cheddar cheese, 4 ounces of chopped green chiles, tomato sauce and sliced tomatoes for garnish. Put butter in a 8 inch square baking pan. Set your hearth to 350 degrees and place pan inside to melt butter. Quickly beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper and pour into pan. Bake for about 10 minutes or until eggs begin to set. Sprinkle with cheese and chiles. Break up mixture and bake for 5 more minutes. Serve with tomato sauce and garnish with tomatoes. Wrap up the eggs and head for the forest. I will be waiting with Bloody Marys for one and all.

My friends, the forces of evil are coming very close to our kingdom. The terrorist organization Hezbollah has set up shop across the border in Mexico. We are all familiar with this organization's bombing of our embassy in Beirut and of the Israeli embassy in Argentina. The group is organized and dangerous and they now are skillfully blending into Shi'a Muslim communities in Mexico. They are training to perfect living in foreign hostile lands and they are now joining forces with the Mexican drug trade. Hezbollah receives cash and the drug cartels receive their expertise. It's a dangerous partnership and it is happening at our door. Remember those tunnels that were discovered that cross into our kingdom. The knowledge necessary to construct those tunnels came from Hezbollah.

Hezbollah is growing rich from all of these illegal operations. Our kingdom is supplying them with lots of cash stemming from illegal drug and immigration trafficking. The money is flowing back to Lebanon and business is good.

Hezbollah's long term goal is to infiltrate communities within North America. We don't have to go to Afghanistan to hunt down terrorists. They are knocking at our back door and given how lax our policy is with regard to border security, I have no doubt we will let them in...POP...

Keep a knockin and we'll let you in

Come back tomorrow and try it again

You said you hate us and you want in

Come back tomorrow and try it again...

Pop,

The terrorist are expert at seeking out the point of least resistance and with this administration security of the Mexican border is a no resistance proposition. Sec. Napolitano claims the border is at it's safest state ever and we are expected to buy it while Hezbollah exploits this myopia.

See ya at the bar, it's my turn to buy!!!!!!!

POP, I am out of town and slowly answering comments but I didn't want to miss your hub. I can sure understand why Hezbollah would use Mexico since we do such a miserable job of policing the border. The future does not look bright and I'm glad you wrote this important hub as we should all be writing our congressmen. Our voices need to be heard on all these important topics. It's time for Obama to quit riding the coat tales of a successful mission by our Navy Seals and attack some of the problems on the home front!

Dear Tom,

Napolitano is a fool and our policy or lack of policy is as disaster. We are our own worst enemy, that is for sure. See you later. I'm thirsty.

Dear Pamela,

Given the pathetic attitude about our porous borders on the part of this administration, terrorist organizations are having a field day. Will it take another major disaster to wake us up? See you at the Inn.

BPOP - Top of the morning to you. Finished up a major project yesterday so I can enjoy breakfast this morning.

Terrorists exploit weaknesses. The death of Bin Laden is probably inconsequential to this band of murderous thugs.

They think he's up there now with Allah enjoying his 72 virgins. What they failed to tell them is that they're all camels.

Good Hub and I wrote my last one today until we come back from Texas.

POP: Just read that some of the intelligence gathered from bin laden's computers was the derailment of one or our trains. This was planned in February, and was to happen on 9-11. Glad I'll be flying soon. As for our southern border, I'd lock it up tight if I were in charge, but I'm not, so Obama gets to let in all the terrorists.

Tom's buying so I'm off to the tavern early. Someone, please save me a seat....

Personally, I think OBL is already inside a barracuda. Enjoy the graduation and your son. My best to the Frog Princess.

Hi POP... I agree with some of the comments above that the death of OBL is really inconsequential to those who will continue his work. I do not feel anymore safe now that he is dead than I did before. Waiting for a grill today, will be late to the inn...xox

Border security should be a very high priority...right up there with the economy, jobs, and our deficit spending. Instead it is being used as a trading chip in the game of creating free citizenship for illegals. You see, it is not that our border is too porous, it is that our citizenship requirements are old and outdated. What we need in "comprehensive reform". I am actually surprised that one of the drug companies has not come out with an on-the-counter pain medication with that name. It's Obama's perscription for everything that ails ya!...Comprehensive Reform! It's also Obama's excuse for getting rid of anything that impedes his agenda on the way to socialism. He told those folks in NY yesterday that he "always had their backs"....apparently none of them have ever looked to the south if they bought into that logic. They asked Obama to make a cameo appearance on that new television series, "Lie To Me" but he decline saying that he had rather be on "The View". Of course he would, the view from where he stands is magnificent high up on that platform of lies and deceit. We should make it a requirement that all future Presidents must spend time as "community organizers" before they can hold office...well, after Obama gets through with us...that may be the case. WB

This is a reason to have our troops, real army and Marines, at our border with real guns and real ammunition so they can shoot ANYONE who comes into our country illegally. The solution is simple. Those in charge are simpletons. We will never be safe. By the way, when will ant spray be invented? Going into the forest is not pleasant because of the ants. see y'all at the inn. Dear Wayne,

While Obama counts votes from illegals jumping over the border Hezbollah is counting just how many young men and women they can turn into terrorists. What is wrong with us? How can we carry on as if this isn't happening? I am appalled, angry and afraid. See you at the Inn. Tom's buying.

Dear taxlarry,

So sorry about the ants, but they will be the least of your problems once Hezbollah opens up shop in your neighborhood. Sounds like a fairy tale or a nightmare but it's coming. See you at the Inn. I enjoyed the dance last night.

BPop I live in a border city and I am well aware of the implications of this. Three men of Muslim descent drove into Camp Pendleton a few weeks back and they said they did not know each other as they drove in two different cars. Both parties claimed they were looking for Glendale which is in Los Angeles. They were casing the security there. And yes IEDs have gone off in Tijuana too.

Morning POP...Terror is coming again to America...Bring our troops home, now, and put them on our borders...implement Israeli-style immigration screening, profile our transportation modes, build up a joint US/Mexico anti-terrorist strike force using drones and whatever else we have to locate and destroy these Hezbollah camps...Take this war to the enemy...don't wait for them to attack us first...

See you at the tavern, POP...Taxlarry and Tom are buying Bin Ladens...Larry

Pop, great hub for problems arising out of the southern borders. I can't help but think they are being ignored for a reason in another UBL style conspiracy, it will all boil down to votes in 2012, my opinion as I read and watch the reported goings on with so many holes I'm stunned as the realization that Americans have been dumbed down to "'cuz I seen it on TV" mind set. When people stop questioning the validity of actions, reasons the what when and where, sorts "show me the beef!" it won't be long until those who do will be jailed and convicted of crimes against the state, again my opinion that includes the US is on that road and has been quite slowly until Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, 2009 when it picked up speed sorta like the click clack click clack of a roller coaster ride to the peak and now we are in free fall on the other side with many having their hands in the air screaming on the way down, as gas prices soar, intruders run across the border of more than just Mexicans looking for work. I hear from Tennessee that they can't find a sack of weed to be bought and if they do it's over 200 bucks a quarter ounce vs 10 bucks an ounce in the 70s, so there is a reason the drug flow is getting slow, I personally don't know if it has gotten tight here in Arizona as well, I just find it odd that the good old boys can't get what's being called a major problem at the border, go figure,.... time to go to the Inn and drink a few and encourage taxlarry to bust a few jokes about ubl death jokes, 50

Dear tony,

Hezbollah has been in Mexico for quite a while and they are making buckets of money to finance their plans. How long are we going to sit back and let this happen? See you at the Inn.

breakfastpop profile image

breakfastpop Hub Author 12 months ago

Dear maven,

If only you were in charge. It seems so clear to me that we have to jump on this now. While we dither Hezbollah is making tons of money to fuel their plans. We need our troops and we need them now. See you at the Inn. I'll try that bin Laden.

breakfastpop Hub Author 12 months ago

Drar 50,

While we wring our hands about Afghanistan, Hezbollah is setting up camp for a long stay. They are making tons of money in exchange for their expertise. The time to strike is now, not when they are hiding in plain sight in our country. See you at the Inn. I could use a drink, a joke and the company of good friends.

Last night on the Republican Candidate debates, Paul (Ron) mentioned the danger of fighting foriegn wars, because in the end we leave our own countries borders in danger. I think the potential of that danger is brought easily to point in your always dilligent breakfasts.

Reading your hubs make me happy, even if content is drear.

bp - I have a real-life vignette for you concerning our eminent leader. I saw this on TV. He was in Miami recently to receive an honorary Associates degree from Miami-Dade Community College. In his speech he said it was his "first ever."

Audience members laughed and clapped thinking he meant his first Associates degree. I think he may have meant more than that given his reluctance to reveal any actual college records. Whatcha think?

Little Sister With Giant Brain and Great Cooking Skills,

Being a southern Arizona resident, this is, of course, a major concern to me. We're pretty wrapped up in two wars, the one at the border, and the one in Washington. This Hezbollah thing's a new one on me. Frog talks about it in his hubs too, but this is these are the only places I've heard it. Where is this information coming from? I definitly want to be on top of this one of course.

Hi pops - this is good information for all to read. I think it's time that our troops came back home like someone else mentioned above, because unfortunately the writing is on the wall. They are here and now with Bin Laden gone I believe they will hit us harder. God help us and give our president some courage and wisdom is my prayer.

Dear Whidbeywriter,

Terrorists are closer than we think and it is time to focus on our country. We need to fortify our borders and our ports and that's just the beginning. Let the Afghans take care of themselves.

Hxprof Level 3 Commenter 12 months ago

You are so right about the Hezbollah-Cartel connection. They're also here in the US and Canada now raising money. These kinds of warnings are commonplace, yet most Americans will be dumbstruck when the first BOOM! goes off. We never fail to surprise me.

It is beyond frustrating. We know they are raising money to support their terror campaign and we quietly let them do it.

Even more frightening are the terrorist training camps INSIDE THE USA. I'd like to know what in the hell are our elected officials good for if they can't stop terrorists from training to kill us in our own country. It's hard not to be angry all the time. I have to watch silly movies or make pretty flower arrangements to settle down after reading about things like this.
