Amish Oatmeal and a Fairy Tale
63Forever...
Good morning beloved breakfastpoppers. Today is Fairy Tale Friday, October 21, in the year of our kingdom 2011. Time is of the essence this morn. We must prepare our breakfast, keep our kids home from school and meet deep, deep in the forest in the Cavern of Lost Freedoms. Queen Michelle My Belle is after our children. Her aim, in her own words, is to affect who they will be "forever". If you are as alarmed by her words as I am, do as I ask and I will meet you and your children in the Cavern.
This morn we will be preparing some delicious and nourishing Amish Oatmeal. You will need to gather together 1 and 1/2 cups quick oats, 1/2 cup sugar( the Queen would frown upon this), 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup melted margarine, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon baking powder, 3/4 teaspoon salt (the Queen is rolling her eyes), 1 teaspoon vanilla, warm milk to serve and fresh fruit and brown sugar for topping.
Combine the first 8 ingredients and mix well. Pour ingredients into a greased 9 x13 baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden brown. Spoon into bowls, add milk and top with fresh fruit and brown sugar. See you in a little while.
Welcome everyone. The long tentacles of the Castle are now reaching out to grab our children from us. Queen Michelle My Belle plans on using all those hours our children are in school to affect who they will be forever, her words not mine. She has said that the government can shape their "habits and preferences" thus creating a child in their image. We are assuming she is talking about what our kid's food choices are, but who is to say that this meddling and molding will stop there.
Clearly, the Queen doesn't think much of us as parents. Evidently, she is convinced that she can do a much better job of "parenting." I know you thought you were sending your kids to school to receive an education. Now it is quite clear that our schools are to become institutions of indoctrination.
What a bleak future we have unfolding in front of us. The Department of Non-Eduction will dictate what our kids are learning and the Queen will decide what they will be eating. The end result is that our children will be changed" forever".
This isn't a Halloween tale of horror, it is the immediate future. THE END...POP...

Your point hits home, Poppy. Americans should be sending their child to school to learn reading, writing, and arithmetic, not to indoctrinated. We are already pumping quasi-socialist out of our institutions of higher learning on a daily basis. When Krusschev stated that the Soviet Union would "overtake the USA without firing a shot", this was exactly what he was speaking about. The litter of socio-communist created in our society in the 60's has matured into teaching machines. We are again infested with the bastards and need major fumigation to continue to survive as a democratic republic. WB
POP: The queen should be taking care of her own house, and stay out of ours. She and the King are one frightening couple. Our school children will be ruined forever, and so will our country. We need to stop their reelection. One more year is quite enough for them.

This government is starting to look alot like some current and former governments. It truly has to stick its ugly head into every aspect of our lives including in the raising of our children. I guess the rebel in me has already seen these things and I have taken them into my own hands. I saw it long before the king and Queen took their throne though. One thing about living in Mississippi home educators are staunchly aware of the problems and fight to the death if someone tries to change the rules or does something out of line to keep them from having control over their children's education. It's friday and I will be so glad to be going to the inn for WHATEVER I want to eat and drink.

My ongoing research as I write (my western tales) set currently in 1876 has helped to realize I knew much less about American history than I'd thought. The ongoing attempt to re-enslave all of the United States to be good little government-owned serfs at best...has been ongoing from the beginning.
Much of my personal eye-opening has been (and is continuing to be) spurred by my study of the original Constitution for the State of Colorado. Right there, smack dab in the middle of the Wild Wild West, the seeds of our destruction are enshrined in the rules adopted for a brand new state.
Example: Gun control. There's a section in that document which does reaffirm a citizen's right to keep and bear arms--but that same section does it's best to "put down" CONCEALED weapons.

Hi, bp - b.Malin above said it best. As free Americans in the land of liberty and justice (?), we still have freedom of choice. And we must exercise our choices come November 2012 so that freedom and liberty do not become only memories of the past.
I have said it many times that this administration scares the living hell out of me. This is just one more example. The fact that our schools are all headed up by extreme liberals is frightening. The fact that our colleges are all professored by extreme liberals frightens me as well. It's shaping and molding at every level. And THIS scares me as well. It's when the nonsensical starts to become the COMMON SENSE, which is generated through this molding and shaping, which makes me want to start smacking a few faces to scream, "Wake up! Wake up! There's a whole forest out there for those trees. See them for God's sake!"
2012 really is either the bastion of hope we're looking for that this country has not lost its mind entirely, or the final confirmation that Our Lady Liberty has died an awful death.
Of course, there is the thought that comes to mind that Romney, should he become the nominee for the republican party, could just be the wolf in sheep's clothing.

I busted up laughing, it may be a typo but "ocuntry" is hilarious either way it happened since we are talking about obama the first lady? here if you think about it, I caught what I call her and the o was for the name? I have yet to figure out the "ry" it was the typo I think it was supposed to be "ress" in the bent over position where barry practices his slogan "take this America"......
Why is it that the first ladies have to mess with our freedom and vices? Betty Ford was after our booze, Nancy pushed for the war on drugs that backfired and Doctors now get targeted for writing prescriptions and most are afraid to. Now we have a dietitian? That is going to knock the fat kids into skinny kids? I read an article that the drive for legislation in this arena came from the pentagon and their problem with the young kids enlisting were too fat and required too much work to get them down to a lean killing machine. Back in the day, when I went through boot camp we were joined by a drafted fat guy who was on his 3rd trip through boot camp and he was then a guy who could stand in one leg of his pants. He chose to repeat boot camp until he was able to finish it, I gave him kudos for wanting to be a Marine to the extent of fighting the 4F [unfit for duty] rating and be returned to civilian life. I need to look him up and see if he survived his first two years, because I'm sure he stayed in for the long haul and if he didn't get killed he retired would be my bet. Any way I'm pretty sure that, that is where this health issue is coming from, why else would they try and knock a major tax source down? It is a job that many experience as they grow up, and now that America is a "service industry" based country that manufactures hamburgers and french fries more than anything else, it just doesn't make any sense to try and kill off those jobs at every nook and cranny there is. In the wide open spaces out west we have probably 6 brands of fast food joints right next to each other every other intersection. When I was in NYC they were piled in the street level store fronts as well just less brands.
I don't know if the cartoon show "the Jetsons" is still played but it was way ahead of it's time where they were wore out at the end of the day from pushing buttons, back when, it was a funny cartoon, it seems that it is closing in to a reality that doing nothing is the goal of many and the examples are sitting around at Wall Street, I hear from a first hand source that the protesters are fat lazy white people with a sprinkling of minorities and homeless who are the ones hit hardest. Seems that they, being the highest percentage of unemployed that they would be there in force with the Jessie Jackson squad screaming racism. I'm not getting this whole thing other than it being a smoke screen for passing dirty legislation while every one is looking at the Wall Street protest, they are in process of passing anti-gun legislation HR 822, and it may well be in the Senate right now headed for barry to sign. We are being fooled on every front right now, this lame duck is a sneaky bastard and we need to be watching them and what they are up to instead of these topics the media promotes for them, that effectively take our eyes off the ball. I figure watching the House and Senate is wiser than watching the news, because the news is not reporting news, they are occupying the minds of America while bills are working their way through the house and senate with amendments getting attached left and right and nobody but them knows.
We are getting blindsided by the media!

First of all I believe taxlarry's mind and hansd work too fast and clearly he has no time for proofreading. In any case, you have a very brilliant mind and when I read your analysis of his writing I spit my coffee out from laughter.
As for your take on the protests, I started feeling the same away about them the other day. What a brilliant diversion. Nobody talks about what Congress is doing or not doing as long as these people are sleeping in the park. As for the media, they have become state run and no longer report the news. They are propaganda machines working for the administration.
I see Michelle My Belle's obsession with our kids as very dangerous and her choice of words very telling about her intentions.
