Good morning beloved breakfastpoppers. Today is Fairy Tale Friday, March 25, in the year of our kingdom 2011. The Kingdom of Dem is in a frightful tizzy. King Teleprompter has declared "something or other" on the neighboring kingdom of Libya. It isn't a war, it isn't an isolated attack, but it is something called a "kinectic military action". Of course no one in the land understands what that means but that's the way King Teleprompter likes things. We really need to explore this latest development a bit further so I suggest we meet by the Forked Road on the Twisted Highway of the Confused. We'll have breakfast and Bloody Marys and try to make sense out of nonsense.
This morn we will be preparing Baked Apple French Toast. Go to your larder and procure 1 large loaf of French bread, 8 eggs, 3 cups of milk, 3/4 cups of sugar, divided, 1 and 1/4 teaspoons vanilla, 5 Granny Smith apples, 2 tablespoons cinnamon, 2 tablespoons butter and 1 teaspoon nutmeg. Preheat your hearth to 400 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch pan with vegetable spray. Slice the bread into 1 and 1/2 inch slices. Place bread in one layer in pan. Now beat eggs and add milk, 1/4 cup sugar, nutmeg and vanilla and mix. Pour half of the mixture over the bread. Peel, core and slice the apples and place apple rings on top of bread. Pour remaining egg over the apples. Mix remaining 1/2 cup of sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over apples. Dot with butter and bake for 35 minutes. Allow to cool for about 10 minutes. Wrap up this most delicious breakfast and meet me at the designated location. I should be easy to spot, I'll be the one carrying about 1400 Bloody Marys!
Hello my friends. I know we have all been worried about this latest development, namely the bombing of the kingdom of Libya. Without so much as a peep King Teleprompter and other parties from the useless organization, the U.N., embarked upon a mission aimed at "who knows what." Rumor has it that the true organizer and initiator of the attack was the King's mentor billionaire George Soreatus. Mr. Soreatus is a proponent and funder of the global organization, the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect, that promotes the military doctrine now used by the Obama administration. Oh, what a surprise! The doctrine helps justify the air strikes that are targeting Moammar Gadhafi Gaddafi Qaddfi's Libya. Why these people have so many spellings of their names I'll never know. The group that I am referring to promotes the doctrine of "Responsibility To Protect". This group is very cozy with Samantha Power, the National Security Council special adviser to President Teleprompter on human rights. A little birdy told me that Ms. Powers had a strong influence on the King's decision to act against Libya.
What we have here is part of a movement to promote global governance. This policy allows the larger international community to attack a nation under certain conditions. This policy states that any state's sovereignty can be overrun. They are re-defining "state sovereignty" and we have every reason to fear this move. The international community, in the view of this group, should hold sway over individual nations. This group envisions a one world model, something foreign and dangerous to the sensibilities of rational thinking people.
Our King is a puppet on a string and the puppeteer is George Soreatus. We have a lot of work ahead of us if we expect to safeguard our kingdom and our identity. There are forces afoot that are trying to diminish us and gobble us up for dinner. Be alert, be aware and be ready to stand tall and protect our land...POP...

POP: I must say that King Teleprompter or his aides have quite an imagination. I would never think of calling this a kinetic military action. Actually, any military action is a type of war, is it not? Since kinetic means moving, or mobile, does this mean that our planes are not standing still?
And as for George Soros, he is certainly behind our esteemed king.....

I again have to crawl out of my smoky little writer’s den and rare my head in search of the Thesaurus this administration is using. The fiction they are writing about this adventure has all the making of a really trashy novel full of hushed back room deals, despicable protagonists, hideous antagonists and all types of plot twists. However the surprise ending in this fairy tale will not be a shocker for the reader but will be a bombshell for the authors when the only “happily ever after” of the story ends with the entire Kingdom of the Enemies.

If international governance can attack the sovereignty of any particular nation what is to keep them from deciding that the time has come to attack that of the USA? Nothing...there's always another edge on the sword in this type of game and it is a very dangerous one. Soon the gauntlet is thrown down...either comply with UN directions or face attack on your homeland by the other member nations. Slowly we find oursleves headed toward world governance seemingly by sheer accident in that we start off using the policy against the "bad guys". American better wake up and get the brakes on this situation. We don't need the UN standing behind us to kick some ass and we don't need to barter away our freedoms and liberties to join some absolutely insane idea of world governance. Remember we are not at war, we are engaged in Kinetic Military action as opposed to Static Military Action. This means when our soldiers slide across the seats of their various military vehicles their hair doesn’t stand straight up! God what a dope or better still what a bunch of dopes this administration takes the American Public for but after all they did elect him so maybe he’s right!
Can you begin to imagine what would have happened had George W. Bush followed the same course when taking us to war against Iraq. But lest I forget myself under Bush we went to war where under Barrackie Boo we’re merely engaged in Kinetic Military Action just as there is no War on Terror but a Collective Action against Overseas Contingency Actions.
But I digress; so let’s revisit what happened under Bush vs. what just happened under Barrackie Boo. Bush went to the US Congress first and received permission to declare war on Iraq; this after 27 separate UN Resolutions demanding Sadam to allow inspectors in his country to look for his WMD’s. Now I know all the Bush Haters are crying see-see there were no WMD’s but I’ll make you a bet. I’ll bet you any amount of money you give me a year and a half and a country the size of Texas and I’ll hide all the WMD’s you can produce in 40 years. But back to the unfolding course of events; after 27 separate UN Resolutions, The Sadam You Better Stop; Sadam We Mean Business; Sadam We Really Mean It This Time; Sadam We’ll Give You One More Chance; Sadam We Really Really Mean It; Sadam We’re Tiring of Your Triffelness; OK Sadam Here We Come and finally the Olly Olly On Set Free Resolution; we went to war!
Whereas when it came time for Barrackie Boo to do something so he could rush out the door with Moochelle and the girls and head for Braille; he wrote an article which was publicized in Aljazeera; had dinner in the White House with the Arab League; Visited Farrakhan who asked him who the hell he thought he was; but after finally visiting the UN he came up with his clever name for the engagement; dumped it in Biden’s lap and headed for Rio!

I didn't think King Telepromter could get worse, but he has. The Brazil deal is infuriating and they act like they gave a new deep water drilling permit to Powers and it was simply allowing them to fix a clogged line. Napolitano announced this morning that the Mexican border is safer than ever. The King sees no need to discuss the bombing of Libya plans with Congress. If Bush had done that everyone would have gone nuts. I guess the budget isn't a priority either. I thin everyone is right that world order is the goal and I have always thought Obama was the puppet, not the master.
I thin a nice long sessions at the inn is necessary.

Pop, I'm going for my usual, Bloody Mary Friday with some shine in deep red. I'm just going by school day memory on the words and meaning. Wayne has it right, my history book says last time this was tried it resulted the tower of Babble, it's forced cease of construction and the people were dumbed down and scattered to the 4 winds.
partisan patriot got it spot on as well, the difference between a Scud missile and a weapon of mass destruction is the "warhead" type you screw on the front end, with all the warnings before the actual move to get to them, the only part that had to disappear was the actual war head and pallet loads probably were and are buried in the sand. Wind and shifting sand only revealed the tails of fighter jets, that resulted in our finding them, so way down deeper, most likely are "dirty bomb" war heads for mounting to missiles and aircraft wing mounted missiles and bombs. Add that to the movement of some to Iran, I'm betting Bush is vindicated and we see them all surface again when Iran fills the space left after we leave Iraq. I'm guessing but the pentagon knows and the white house has been advised, so I don't understand why Bush sat a-kinetic (unmoving) in his own defense of being called a liar in the face of poor information fed to him as well as all the possibilities of where the WMDs could be in the time between revelation, publicity of and warnings from NATO until we actually made the move to get them. As we speak, Syria is in chaos and troops are opening fire on protesters. Yemen is also in turmoil as are several other countries. In Libya, protesters are burning Obama in effigy.
Obama is now in danger of being the president who lost the entire Middle East.
If that happens, look for massive oil shortages here in the US as American-hating Muslim radicals take over the oil fields.

Just a quick comment on why Gaddafi's name is spelled so many ways. Libya doesn't use the same alphabet so every time it's transliterated, you just go by how it sounds to you. Therefore, it's not even possible to spell his name correctly in English.

1. Shrink "kinetic military action" down to its acronym, "KMA".
2. Expand the acronym back out to its ACTUAL meaning, what the Liar in Chief is telling us with every fiber of his being: "KISS MY A**!"
