Baked Veggie Omelette on Manic Monday

Good morning breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, February 8, 2010. Today's breakfast selection is a Baked Vegggie Omelette. If you want to join me you will need 1 and 1/3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese, 2 cups chopped broccoli, 3 tomatoes, coarsely chopped, 2 and 2/3 cups shredded Cheddar cheese, 1 and 1/3 cups milk, 1/3 cup all-purpose flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 4 eggs. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Layer Monterey Jack cheese, broccoli, tomatoes and Cheddar cheese in an baking dish. Beat milk, flour, salt and eggs until smooth. Pour mixture over cheese. Bake uncovered 40 to 45 minutes or until egg mixture is set. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. The recipe serves six. Let's sit back and enjoy our breakfast and discuss something that has occurred that I feel bears looking into.
We haven't heard that much about indoctrination in the schools lately. The haunting strains of Mmmm, Mmmm, Mmmm Barack Hussein Obama haven't been heard in the school corridors, recently, but nevertheless the brain-washing continues. An Ohio high school teacher distributed applications for internships for Organizing For America, a grassroots organization with direct ties to the Democratic National Committee. Included with the forms was a list of suggested reading material that included Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". Tucked away in the material was the group's stated mission which is to build on the movement that elected Obama by empowering students to help bring about a new agenda of change. None of this material belongs in our schools and it is quite clear that this teacher broke every rule in the book. The teacher remains in school and it is highly unlikely that any action will be taken.
So this is what we have come to. First in the rush of gushy enthusiasm about the election of a black President our young children are invited to sing the magnificent one's praises and rap to his greatness. Now I suppose it's time for the radical left to get to the student's who are ready to go out into the world and make a difference. The difference they are hoping for is the perpetual domination of the left over all of us. Their game plan is to start with the children and make sure they grow into radical adults in the image of the Saul Alinsky's of the world.
Wasn't this part of Hitler's plan, when he began the indoctrination of the children and pit them against all and any who didn't believe as they did, including their parents? I think it is imperative that we keep an eye on our schools and get a good handle on what they are teaching. That goes for the books as well, because there is a movement afoot that wants to rewrite history.

POP: I took it for granted that our school system was teaching US history as it happened. I never checked the books; never even thought about it. My grandson will be a junior in HS next year, and will be taking the required US history course. I will be certain my daughter reads through his text book. - Thanks, Tom.

I enjoyed your hub. I think it is a tragedy that education has become so thoroughly controlled by the liberals, that they can operate with impunity and indoctrinate our children and teach them untruths about the history of this nation. As a conservative, I just bet that if I gave extra credit or a grade for ANYTHING that could somehow be construed as endorsing a republican, I would be in trouble. I have a smart board in my classroom, and it is hooked to my desktop computer. Because my screen saver is sometimes on the smart board for all to see, I had it changed to an American flag in the shape of the USA. My prior screensaver was a red background with a white box in the middle that read "I THINK THEREFORE I AM A REPUBLICAN".. I had this changed BEFORE my screensaver was projected for the class, because this state is overrun with dems. I don't see any reason to sign up for extra grief, and if an American flag offends them, TOUGH CRAP!!!
BPOP, I hope the grassroots movement can help eliminate this because its wrong any way you look at it. You would think parents and PTA groups would be up in arms in any school district that would require reading of Rules for Radicals. And, yes Hitler started indoctrinating children in school at a young age. Doesn't that make you feel great about the fate of our nation? Anyone that can afford a private school for their child or home school them would be a wise move.

I see that now parents are more involved than ever in the schools, but it is really for the kindergarten and first graders. However their involvement revolves around constant parties and arts and crafts. Is anybody reading the textbooks? I wonder. Thanks for the feed-back about the e-mails. NO e-mail notification I think the government is watching our group of right wing nut jobs and they are trying to trip us up. What will they write in history about us? Will there be a chapter accusing us as working against their so called truth? Will it say Bush brain washed us into leading a rebellion against dingle berry's communist plan? I would love to get my hands on the pack of information to read. It would re-enforce my zeal to see hussein fail at his attempt to spread communism across this country. What hurts me most is the fact there is no outrage nor outcry of foul! against this regime that is becoming a machine like the axis of evil we fought in the world wars! How can this happen? People are happy as long as they get to watch million dollar commercials while the slug down ice cold beer during the super bowl, until that sort of thing is taken away from them then they will cry but it will be too late.
So while we can, lets go to the bar and laugh our asses off with good company. I'm buying and putting it on a credit card I have no intention of paying back. It takes 2 cards with a 10,000 dollar limit, you just spend on one card and cash advance the other for enough to pay minimum on the other, then switch cards the next month. I figure it will work for at least two years before they get maxed out and I'll use the last cash advance to change my satellite phone number. Screw them back, it will be fun!

There is an organisation in Europe called Common Purpose;they are about as left as you can get -they operate under the guise of a charity-and have been shown to have links with communism,nazis,bilderberg,etc-they are steadily infiltrating schools ,universities,business,etc.They run programmes which staff have been compelled to attend(5000euro per head)-I clicked on a US ad for Christian women,and guess what-Common Purpose in US also.

In an effort to not hurt anyone's feelings we have produced a nation of people who don't know basic math and can't string three words together. So, having said that, you're right, they will not have the power of critical thinking to see past the garbage from the left. Scary, isn't it?

Morning POP, I didn't get the e-mail either, bad hubpages!..My daughter-in-law is a teacher who is planning to homeschool my grandson. She told me last night that the curriculum is changing and that teachers are spending 50% of their time being a mother instead of a teacher. Kid come to school unprepared, half dressed, no snack, sleepy, and the children who are there to learn are the ones who suffer. She has become disallusioned with teaching even though it was her passion. This administration will do everything to turn the kids against their parents just like Hitler. Anyone with children should be afraid.
May consider homeschooling in the near future.

I just got back from seeing my doc and he is kind of surly. He said he saw Obama on TV and threw his shoe through the big screen. I told him he wasn't alone I am paying twice as much since Obama's atempt to socialize the health care system. I like 50's fiscal plan!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m still not being notified of your hubs; had to find this one on my own. That happened to me and I went to ask a question and thought it had been corrected but I wasn’t notified when someone just commented on my latest which I published yesterday morning.
Anyway, moving right along with my usual commentary; some may call it bloviating! You are so correct in pointing out the new political battle ground for controlling the minds of future voters is indeed the school system. I am not surprised that the reading material being pushed is Saul Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals". They are probably sizing up the students so that the larger one can be utilized as poll intimidators along with the Black Panthers in some critical districts. They will equip them with night sticks and teach the students how to use them as would be voters approach the polling place. Of course voter profiling is an acceptable tool as it applies in this case so the INTIMIDATORS can adequately size up which voters are Obama friendly and which ones are not. Most of the ones voting in the early morning or late afternoon sessions are likely not Obama supporters. They are probably voting at those particular times because they have jobs; something most Obama supporters don’t have. They are dependent on him redistributing the income of those working for their subsistence!
Pop; in order to have a well rounded curriculum the schools must provide a variety of subjects. During the music hour the students will sing Barrack Hussein Obama Mmmm-Mmm-Mm; then during the political science hour they will be taught about Uncle Saul, not Uncle Sam!
They are preparing the students for the world they hope the students will be a part of. A world in which the Messiah has effectively established his New World Order; all hail the King; King Barrack Hussein Obama; Long Live the King!

We have to face the fact that truly, the price of freedom is eternal vigilance.
It's been going on for so long. I was in elementary school in the 50's, high school in the 60's, and taught to be sympathetic toward the poor Germans and Austrians and Polish in Europe. Hitler and only Hitler was accountable for the war and holocaust. And there's more...I'll be writing about it soon.

I have news the history books were already changed back in the 1980's when my girls were in school. I looked at their books and told them the true history of America. They had to study these monstrosities just to pass their tests but I made sure they knew the truth.
