Pumpkin Breakfast Pie and a Letter

Good morning breakfastpoppers. Today is Monday, November 1, 2010. Tomorrow is the big day. Tomorrow is the day that the nation will render its opinion about the state of our union. I hope tomorrow is the day that aborts this train wreck of a ride towards socialism. If all goes well and the fraud is overshadowed by the actual votes we will be on our way. I have a few things I want to say to President Obama. but first let's prepare a Breakfast Pumpkin Pie. You will need 6 mini pumpkins, 4 eggs, lightly beaten, 1 cup reduced fat milk, 3/4 of a 16 ounce can of pumpkin filling, 1/2 cup honey, 3 tablespoons molasses, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract, a pinch of allspice and a pinch of ground ginger. Cut the lids off the pumpkins and scoop out pulp and seeds. You won't be using the pulp or seeds in this recipe, but you could save it for another recipe. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Whisk together all the remaining ingredients and fill each pumpkin bowl with equal amounts of batter, almost to the top. Place bowls in a large baking dish. Bake for about 40 minutes. Check pies and insert toothpick in center. If the toothpick comes out clean you can remove the pumpkins from the oven. Serve pumpkin bowls with lids on. Sit back and enjoy your pies. I feel a letter coming on.
Dear President Obama,
I imagine right about now you are feeling quite frustrated. You emerged seemingly overnight to rise to the highest office in the land and we, the people, just don't seem to appreciate all you have done for our country. First let me say that we do, in fact, have a clear understanding of what you have done to our country. The past two years have felt like an open attack upon all of our basic values and tenets. Certainly, there are some people who applaud all the "change" you have imposed upon us, but the polls indicate quite clearly that the majority of Americans are angry and appalled by what you and your fellow Democrats have done. By Wednesday morning, the people will have spoken and I, along with many other people, hope the results will stop you in your tracks. I don't expect that a rousing Republican victory will give you pause to move a bit to the center. I don't see that as being part of your character.
A fascinating new book has been published about you sir. It was written by Stanley Kurtz and is entitled "Radical-in-Chief: Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism". As the book unfolds it becomes crystal clear that despite your assertions to the contrary, the label "socialist" is completely accurate. These past two years have made many people in our country weary of your desire to pit one group of us against another. It's the "fat cats vs the average Joe, the haves vs. the have-nots. Your background, your friends, your education, your radical associations and your affiliation with groups like ACORN and Project Vote have painted a picture of a man who intends to lead us away from our capitalist society down the path to socialism. We have your number, sir. We do not intend to allow you and your fellow Democrats to socially and politically transform our society.
We intend to take our country back and it begins tomorrow in the voting booth...POP...

Realclear Politics ( a left-leaning blog site ) has projected a 66 seat gain for conservatives in the House...They have conservatives picking up 8 seats in the senate, with a couple more leaning right...
My prediction ( for what its worth ) for the House is a final count of 248 Republican seats vs 187 Democrat...Senate at 48 Republican vs 52 Democrat...

In my entire life I've had Demoncrat Senators and four short weeks ago a Rebublican candidate was leading but now Gov. Manchin has magically surged into the lead in the West Virginia Senate race.
Looks like the string of Randolph, Bird, and Rockefeller may stay intact and I may sell the house I just bought and move to a Republican state!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ithink you should send the letter to Obumma. Get the socialist out of the white house and the socialists out of congress. Maybe then I can write Congress instead of congress and White House instead of white house. Neither institution deserves respect as those in the congress and the white house do not respect those institutions nor the people of this country. And, hopefully, those that want government to be their nanny will s#$% in their pants Wednesday morning. They may have to go look for a job in an environment that the occupant in the white house and the socialists in congress has created so that no jobs are available. Maybe they can mow lawns. POP, I just reat that a 'New' Black Panther party has been deployed to Houston as Poll Watchers. In this case 'New' just means new uniforms. It's going to be very interesting tomorow, I'm planning to take an afternoon nap, and making pots of coffee to follow the results.
Just another note, incase you're wondering where the rest of the stimulus is: Obama will be going on a 10 day Asian trip right after the election, and Michelle will be going to talk to the hookers in the Red light District. They will be taking their closes personal friends, so they rented 800 room, 570 of the will be in the Taj Mahal hotel and the Navy will be deployed. He's going there to talk economics.....LOL< LOL

It's almost like Christmas eve in my house! I was supposed to be in Ashland, Kentucky tonight to work midnights and didn't find out in time to vote absentee...so I called off! You know, Poppy, they say you can tell a lot about a man by the company he keeps. If that is indeed a true statement then, this guy scares the living hell out of me for he is surrounded by socialists, Marxist, and avowed Communists as well. The fact that he sat in a pew at the church of Rev. Wright for 20 years speaks volumes about either his nature or his inability to hear what is being said. Other that his formal education, his only real training has been in the area of class warfare assigned the luke-warm moniker of "community organizer"...there was nothing about what this man did during that time that was oriented toward "organizing" unless it was a mob. Hopefully, we will see a deadlock gained by way of the election only to endure two months of a lame-duck Congress carrying out Obama's final bidding. Hopefully, most of them will be so outraged at their loss that they will turn their backs and do nothing. Barring great amounts of voter fraud, I feel we will see the proper result. You know today I saw someone's profile on Twitter and it said, "I did not vote for ACORN's lawyer." How has this President been able to disassociate himself from ACORN and even be CONSIDERED for reelection?! How did he get elected in the first place is also a question we often ask ourselves. However - I just have to note that Dick Cheney never lost the connection to Haliburten even though he hadn't worked for them for five years prior to his becoming Vice President. Yet President Obama stays clear of any ACORN association and so many other horrible affiliations with criminals and criminal activity. I'm with Wayne - he's pretty scary!
